Copper has such a warm glow! In this class students will learn a variety of fold-form techniques and then use their favorites to create either a pair of earrings, or a cuff bracelet. By bending, folding, twisting and hammering the copper, many unique designs can be made. It is fun to take a flat sheet and turn it into a 3-D form.

Pick your birthstone, or another! We will first learn to solder while practicing on a copper band. Then you will select your stone, create your sterling band and add a tube bezel. (the bezel holds the stone) Last, we pop in the stone! All materials provided.

In this class you will create one beaded mosaic necklace pendant. Don't want to wear it, no problem! Makes a lovely little gift, or place it in a frame to hang on the wall. I will provide a variety of shallow bezel designs for you to select from, and many beads to choose from. We will do a bit of arranging and designing before committing to the final look. Pendants will be ready to leave with you.

Silver hoop earrings are always a classic! In this studio course, you will use sterling silver wires of various gauges to create a pair of earrings. Keep it simple, or add your unique touch! Ear wires will be provided or made with a small jig.

In this course you can expect to first practice soldering on copper or brass wire. Next we will explore several texturing techniques, and then you will be creating 3 sterling silver rings using your new found soldering abilities. Great beginner class!!

In this studio course, you will be using a stained glass technique involving the use of copper foil, flux, and a soldering iron. Many broken china options are provided, but feel free to bring in something you may have from home. This is a nice class for multiple ages. Young students welcome with their adult!

This class is easy and fun, and great for all ages! All tools and materials are provided. Several different wire ring styles and designs will be taught and you will make and take 3-5 rings. This class is perfect for small groups or parties, or for families looking to create together.

After the texture is complete, the bracelets will be soldered closed, and finished with files, sandpaper and buffing wheel. Great beginner class with a stunning professional result!

This is a 6 week class where you will learn to saw, pierce, file, sand and buff. You will learn multiple soldering techniques (hot joining), and hand riveting (cold joining). Various texturing techniques, and the inclusion of surface color, enameling, and fold forming will also be included.

Learn to bezel set a colorful piece of sea glass into a sterling silver ring. Colorful sea glass pieces will be provided, but if you have a special piece from home, please feel free to bring it along. This studio course includes sawing, soldering, bezel and backplate forming, as well as stone setting. Beginning metalsmith skills recommended, but not required.
