Adina will teach you to saw, solder, file, and finish a copper ring, and then apply those new skills while creating another one in sterling silver. A variety of texture treatments will be available. You will customize the thickness of your sterling band to your liking.

In this class, you will create two beaded mosaic necklace pendants. Don't want to wear it? No problem! Makes a lovely little gift, or place it in a frame to hang on the wall. I will provide a variety of shallow bezel designs for you to select from, along with numerous beads to choose from. We will do some arranging and designing before committing to the final look. Pendants will be ready to leave with you.

How sweet is that! Wire wrapping and twisting isn't something I do often. However, I was so enamored with this process and the end results, I wanted to share! Expect to use wire, beads, and pliers to twist a lovely bonsai-style tree. We will then "plant" it in a base and add landscaping. Good for multiple ages and abilities.

Pick your birthstone, or another! We will first learn to solder while practicing on a copper band. Then you will select your stone, create your sterling band, and add a tube bezel. (the bezel holds the stone) Last, we pop in the stone! All materials provided.

Copper has such a warm glow! In this class, students will learn a variety of fold-form techniques and then use their favorites to create either a pair of earrings or a cuff bracelet. By bending, folding, twisting, and hammering the copper, many unique designs can be made. It is fun to take a flat sheet and turn it into a 3-D form.

In this studio course, you will use a stained-glass technique involving copper foil, flux, and a soldering iron. Many broken-china options are available, but feel free to bring something you may have from home. This is a nice class for multiple ages. Young students welcome with their adult! Silver hoop earrings are always a classic! In this studio course, you will use sterling silver wires of various gauges to create a pair of earrings. Keep it simple, or add your unique touch! Ear wires will be provided or made with a small jig.

Enamel is glass powder that is either torch-fired or kiln-melted to add color to fine silver or copper. We will create our earring shapes with either a punch or a shear. Once the earrings are made, you will add color by selecting transparent or opaque enamels. Expect to leave with two sets of earrings in copper. Instructor - Christina

Some of the concepts covered include sawing/piercing metal, soldering hows and whys, cold joining, fold forming, enameling, texturing, jump rings, toggles, and ear wires.

Learn to bezel set a colorful piece of sea glass, stone, or china into a sterling silver ring. Colorful pieces will be provided, but if you have a special piece from home, please don't hesitate to bring it along. This studio course includes sawing, soldering, bezel and backplate forming, as well as stone setting. Beginning metalsmith skills are recommended, but not required. This is a long workshop, so bringing along readers, snacks, and a beverage is recommended. Instructor - Sue
